Accessibility Statement
Centro Comercial La Ribera is committed to making its digital presence inclusive and accessible to everyone.
Last reviewed: June 2026
1. Our Commitment
Centro Comercial La Ribera strives to ensure that its digital directory portal is accessible to all people, including those with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive disabilities. We are committed to continuously improving the accessibility of our web presence in line with international best practices.
2. Target Standard
Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities and to all users in general.
3. Measures We Have Taken
Our portal has been built with the following accessibility considerations:
- Semantic HTML5 structure with appropriate ARIA landmark roles for screen reader navigation.
- Color contrast ratios of at least 4.5:1 for all body text and UI elements.
- Descriptive alt text provided for all meaningful images; decorative images are marked appropriately.
- Full keyboard navigability — all interactive elements (links, buttons, forms) are reachable via Tab and activated via Enter or Space.
- Responsive design optimized for all screen sizes, including mobile assistive technology.
- No auto-playing audio or video; media controls are always visible.
- Minimum font size of 16px for body copy to ensure legibility.
- Focus indicators are visible on all interactive elements.
4. Technical Approach
This portal is built with Next.js using modern, standards-compliant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We use semantic elements, progressive enhancement, and regularly review components against WCAG success criteria during development.
5. Known Limitations
While we strive for comprehensive accessibility, some areas are still being improved. Any linked PDF documents may not yet be fully compatible with all screen readers. We are actively working to address these gaps and welcome your feedback to help us prioritize improvements.
